1 – QUARRY LZ (ENG)

Located just a few kilometers from Carrara (MS), this is the place where masters like Michelangelo and Canova would personally select the finest marble blocks for their works of art. Nestled in the mountains, the quarry offers a stunning sea view.

It is an open-air Roman quarry near the picturesque village famous for the renowned IGP Lardo. Relatively comfortable roads (used daily by trucks transporting marble blocks) lead to it, which is just 12 minutes from the center of Carrara.

The quarry also serves as a venue for theatrical performances and photo shoots for prestigious brands (such as Lamborghini).
