DESCRIPTION

A Baroque-style building, it was designed by architect Alessandro Bergamini and is located on the western long side of Piazza Alberica. The interiors are adorned with marble bas-reliefs. The grand and majestic façade features nine window bays across four floors, enriched by the characteristic Cybo red color and the family crest at its center.
Inside, one can admire 18th-century rooms decorated with frescoes and bas-reliefs. Palazzo del Medico hosted Antonio Canova in 1783 and, later in 1851, Maria Anna of Savoy, Empress of Austria, following her marriage to Ferdinand I of Austria.
