DESCRIPTION
The ex-BIC building is in the industrial area of Massa. Originally constructed in 1940 as the gatehouse of the Dalmine plant, it was designed by architect Giovanni Greppi. The building is a longitudinal two-story structure, distinguished by its brick cladding and an imposing white marble portal.
It spans an area of approximately 22,000 square meters and includes two office buildings, four warehouse blocks with 14 laboratory units, a large yard, and an electrical substation.
Currently, the ex-BIC building awaits a future designation that will enhance its potential within Massa’s industrial landscape.
